We are upgrading our servers to increase the number of servers available. We will be running 24 servers in one site alone. Ever mindful of power costs and the environmentally effect huge power consumption has we have gone to ultra low power unit consuming only 30% of the power a normal server would need. That with blade servers reducing the carbon foot print. Our \new NAS servers have a 75% saving in power with a minimal effect on performance.

Later this year we shall be setting up a failover data centre site this should cover any local or national events that might stop our services i.e. flooding, power failures etc
